A sequel to the 2022 blockbuster Vikram is still the plan for Kamal Haasan, with Part 2 set to have Suriya as the new main villain.

A sequel to the Vikram 2022 movie was hinted at in the final scenes of the film as the one and only Suriya (real name Saravanan Sivakumar) had a cameo as ‘Rolex’, the kingpin of the highly-lucrative illegal drug trade.

A targeted release date or even production schedule for a Vikram sequel has not yet been publicly revealed, but Kamal Haasan has hinted that Part 2 will start as soon as the schedule opens up.
There are even rumours that a third Vikram movie is in the works. As reported by Bollywood Life, “from what we’re hearing, the makers already have Vikram 3 at the back of their minds, which could follow Vikram 2 pretty, possibly even made in a back-to-back schedule.”
