Batti Gul Meter Chalu (transl. Lights off, meter on) is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language drama film.The film has been directed by Shree Narayan Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Nishant Pitti and Krishan Kumar.It tells the story of electricity theft in rural India and stars Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Yami Gautam in lead roles.

Principal photography commenced in February 2018 and was wrapped up in July 2018. It is scheduled for release on 21 September 2018
