कांग्रेस वर्किंग कमेटी (CWC) ने राहुल गांधी से लोकसभा में नेता प्रतिपक्ष बनने को लेकर प्रस्ताव पास किया है। संगठन के प्रभारी पार्टी महासचिव केसी वेणुगोपाल ने शनिवार को यह जानकारी दी। उन्होंने कहा, 'सीडब्ल्यूसी ने सर्वसम्मति से राहुल गांधी से लोकसभा में विपक्ष के नेता की भूमिका निभाने की अपील की। संसद के अंदर इस कैंपेन को लीड करने के लिए राहुल जी सबसे सही व्यक्ति हैं।' वेणुगोपाल से पूछा गया कि इस प्रस्ताव को लेकर राहुल गांधी की क्या प्रतिक्रिया रही? उन्होंने बताया, 'इस पर कांग्रेस के पूर्व अध्यक्ष ने कहा कि वह विचार करेंगे।'
