If Pastry is in short supply, you cant get to the store or you are obsessed with baking Pie Maker stuff, then this pastry is a life saver. I made it in the Thermomix but any Food Processor would do the job .
Its simple, economical, freezes well, is absolutely fool proof stays nice and light and crisp plus it can be used for both sweet and savoury applications. This is your only goto ShortCrust Pastry... I promise.

INGREDIENTS:
450g flour (AP or Plain)
2 egg yolks
250g cold butter (don't use oil)
1/2t salt
3-5 T very cold water.
