Easy way to create dual boot in VMware, here I'm using Windows 10 64-bit with Ubuntu. Both .iso files can be downloaded in official websites, or by using the links below. Thanks!

When you want to create new virtual machine of Windows 10 iso file, do not choose "typical" but choose "custom" instead. 2. Then, just click next, until you can see the options there, which is UEFI and BIOS. 3. By default, it will choose UEFI, but if you face this problem, tick on the bios and proceed like in this video. Black screen when trying to launch Windows 10 - 1. Please recheck if you enabled Virtualization in Bios on your computer. 2. In order to do that, enter bios setting, google your laptop brand "How to enter bios on -YOUR BRAND- " 3. You also can simply enter bios by click on Windows logo, and you'll see shut down, restart and sleep. Just hold shift and click restart. 4. Click on troubleshoot, then advanced options, then you will see UEFI Firmware Settings. Click on it. 5. Proceed to BIOS, and look under the configuration setting, check for virtualization and enable it. Make sure to save and exit. |
