The Dallas Mavericks have been eliminated from the 2020 NBA Playoff race, and they will now set their sights on NBA free agency. Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis are obviously the centerpieces of this Dallas Mavs team, but now they need to build around their two young stars. International role players such as Bogdan Bogdanovic of the Sacramento Kings, Davis Bertans of the Washington Wizards and Danilo Gallinari of the Oklahoma City Thunder are all free agents this season. Bogdanovic, who is good friends with Boban Marjanovic and Luka Doncic, could find his way to Dallas this summer. Danilo Gallinari of the Oklahoma City Thunder has been a consistent 20 PPG scorer and would be a welcomed addition to the Mavs starting five. Davis Bertans is one of the best big man shooters in the NBA, and he would be a great piece off the Dallas Mavericks’ bench next season.

Other names that might fit the Dallas Mavericks roster this offseason include Jerami Grant of the Denver Nuggets, Christian Wood of the Detroit Pistons and Jae Crowder of the Miami Heat. Grant would be a great lob threat off the bench or in the starting five next to Porzingis. Christian Wood has taken a huge step forward in his game this past year with the Pistons. Jae Crowder of the Miami Heat has played for the Mavericks before and maybe he could return.
