Debate: Does the Holy Spirit Possess Personhood according to the Christian Bible |
![]() |
Most Christians believe in both the personhood and full divinity of the Holy Spirit, but others disagree. Some people say the Holy Spirit is an impersonal force, while others say a less than fully divine angel. But what to the Christian scriptures say? Mary Harb (aka Too Many Marys) was schedule to debate the Muslim YouTube commenter with many names, perhaps best known as Jason Bourne. However, Jason chickened out, posting elsewhere on YT during the debate and even joining the livestream comments eventually, but never coming up live. In his place, the esteemed Sheikh al-Badi filled in at the last minute. Mary argued the affirmative, while the sheikh argued the negative.
After the debate, we had an after party for analysis and reaction in a separate stream: https://youtu.be/fZz5KCQ9f1A Mary uploaded her presentation here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Jf845TZkvaEBseRh8q1kWCLpV1pBtyRX You can subscribe to her channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxtqW7tDiSm8jsObrE9Nh3w Support me on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/ReasonedAnswers Follow on Twitter: https://twitter.com/ReasonedAnswers Like on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pg/ReasonedAnswers/ Feel free to email with any questions: thaddeus@reasonedanswers.com #ChristianityDebate #LiveDebate #TooManyMarys ---- Thumbnail is derived from a copyrighted image in accordance with fair use.
