Brad Panovich weather VLOG 12/14/22: Cold rain will move into the Charlotte area on Wednesday, Dec. 14, before even colder air arrives next week. In this video, WCNC Charlotte chief meteorologist Brad Panovich will have the latest forecast for Charlotte and surrounding areas in the Carolinas.
Brad Panovich says he received some reports of sleet mixing in with rain but there isn't any real threat of wintry weather in the Charlotte metro. So no, there won't be any snow, sleet or ice falling in the Charlotte area, but it will be cold. This storm system will bring heavy rain to North Carolina and South Carolina, but the risk of severe weather will be mostly limited to the Carolina coast, according to Panovich. It's not a huge risk, but there is a non-zero threat of tornadoes and damaging winds in some areas. #cltwx #ncwx #scwx #wcnc #weather #charlotte #northcarolina #southcarolina Weather IQ is powered by the meteorologists and forecasters at WCNC Charlotte in North Carolina.
