Welcome to the story Walkthrough for Mortal Kombat 11. Here you'll find the order of the fights you'll face for Chapter 1 - Next of Kin as well as what items you'll get for winning each fight.

First up, you'll get a chance to play as the spawn of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade, Ms. Cassie Cage as the team makes an assault on. But before taking the fight to the enemy, you'll test your skills against your own mom.

Story Summary
In Chapter 1 of the story, we initially see a hardened Raiden torturing Shinnok after his capture at the end of the Mortal Kombat X storyline. He ends up beheading him, claiming it to be a worse fate than death.

After Raiden teleports away a strange woman appears who clearly has the ability to alter time. But more on that later.

We shift scenes to the Earthrealm military forces where Cassie Cage is getting a new promotion, curtesy of her commander, her mother Sonya Blade, with a final test to fight her mother to ascend through the ranks. After proving her worth, Raiden appears with tidings of a problem with Netherrealm.

With a corrupted Liu Kang and Kitana gathering their armies they decide to take the fight to them, taking out the source of their immortal army beneath Shinnok's temple. They enter Netherrealm, and while Raiden creates a distraction killing hundreds of enemies on the battlefield, Sonya, Cassie, and Jacqui Briggs sneak beneath the castle to set explosives. Sonya breaks away to head further underground while Cassie watches a higher level.

While holding their ground, Cassie needs to fight Kabal, while Jade goes to inform Liu Kang and Kitana of the intruders. The two corrupted leaders join the fray underneath, and Cassie must take them out as well. Unfortunately as Sonya comes to join Cassie after setting the charges, Liu Kang drops an avalanche of rocks on her, trapping her.

Taking out Liu Kang, Cassie heads to her mother, but Sonya is trapped and not getting out, instead choosing to sacrifice herself and giving Cassie orders to leave the castle and save the rest of the troops. Cassie and the others obey, returning to Earthrealm with a bittersweet victory as the Temple blows sky high.
