We are building a new live streaming studio in just a couple weeks! We want your advice, ideas and creative energy to help us design this amazing new space! In this live show, we share our Google Sketchup designs comparing and contrasting our various designs for a live streaming studio. This weeks Facebook Live reaction questions polls our audience on whether they like the classic live streaming studio control room with a window made of glass... OR if they like a live streaming studio design with an open floor plan.

As our conversation continues, our audience chimes in with ideas on how to setup our live streaming studio. As many of our viewers will tell you, everyone likes StreamGeeks transparency and "DIY" atmosphere where everything is shared. Building a wall between the talent and video producer may hinder this current layout and many people like the idea of an open floor plan. So as you see, we have 3D live streaming studio designs that provide comparisons between the various studio designs. 

The benefits of a traditional studio control/production operation area is the sound-proof separation between each area. If you decide to use a open floor plan the video production people will have to remain quite. To us this is not a big deal because the video production personnel will usually have a pair of headphones. A couple things we talk about is the video producers role in camera switching and camera control. The video production people will simultaneously be in charge of monitoring the PTZ camera movement, camera switching, video inputs and audio. So it's a tough job and when we make mistakes on Stream Geeks this is why.
