With no Maximum Football 21 to compare to Axis Football 21, and having not played much of the other indie football games (Sunday Rivals or Legend Bowl), I can't do the usual comparison between indie football games this year. So instead, I want to discuss some of the ways that I think Axis Games can improve the quality of Axis Football for the 22 season and beyond. With new indie football games on the rise, Maximum under a new studio, and new big-budget football games due out in 2022 and 2023, it is critical that Axis Football take a big leap forward in the next year or two. Here are 10 ideas for how Axis can accomplish that and stay relevant in this suddenly much more competitive market.
