A popular East Providence Portuguese feast is canceling this year's event due to the Washington Bridge shutdown.
The Trinity Brotherhood Club said profits have been down 30% since December. "I've been here all my life. It was hard to make this decision," President Glen Fagundes said. "We're in the middle of this mess. We've given out close to $20,000 a year to the community.
