Number one - your partner tries to control or isolate you. Things like demanding to know your location 24/7, preventing you from seeing friends and family, or getting angry when you're independent are unacceptable.

Number two - you don't feel safe. Any threats, physical violence, intimidation, or destruction of property is abuse. Your safety should be the top priority.

And number three - infidelity. Cheating often causes too much hurt to come back from. If your partner betrays your trust, it’s okay to walk away.
