Tina Turner live @ The Venue (1983 from London) [audio only, part 2] |

It was December 20, and Tina was beginning to find success as a solo artist: ‘Let's Stay Together’ had just hit #6 on the UK singles charts, and at the end of this show she was presented with a silver disc for sales of 250,000 copies.
She belted out a full catalogue of her songs for almost two hours. At 44 she was full of energy exuding immense sex-appeal. The show was a sell-out and it was so crowded at the front that my camera was pressed up against my face. I couldn't have put it down even if I had wanted to (words from David Corio, photographer of the show). Thanks to the original recorder! This is an audience recording of the show, part two.
