Personal View:
4 days of Hong Kong Trip is short if Macau is part of the itinerary. If it is your first traveling Hong Kong and you would like to visit Macau also, you might want to consider longer trip. Macau is just an hour away so it is worth to visit both especially if you come from far. Macau is rich in culture and heritage. There are a lot of traditional foods and historical building.So, it is not only about gambling as what it is perceive off. I think the best time of the year to visit both Hong Kong and Macau will be before Lunar New Year. The weather will be cooling and there will be festive atmosphere. What do you think?
