New Delhi, Dec 24 (ANI): Former Minister of State in the Ministry of Home Affairs and Congress leader Ajay Maken, while talking about implementation on National Population Register (NPR) by United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government, said, “We also did NPR in 2011, but we never took it forward to NRC.” Ajay Maken was the then Minister of State for Home Affairs in 2011 and the head of Census Programme 2011.
