राज्य सरकार छात्राओं के सशक्तिकरण एवं उनको उच्च शिक्षा के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने हेतु अहम निर्णय ले रही है। अब प्रदेश की 30 हजार मेधावी छात्राओं को स्कूटियां वितरित की जाएंगी। स्कूटियों की संख्या 20 हजार से बढ़ाकर 30 हजार करने के प्रस्ताव का अनुमोदन किया है।
कालीबाई भील मेधावी छात्रा स्कूटी योजना एवं देवनारायण स्कूटी योजना में मेधावी छात्राओं को अब इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटी लेने का भी विकल्प मिलेगा। छात्राएं ऑनलाईन आवेदन के समय विकल्प ले सकती हैं। योजनान्तर्गत यदि सभी छात्राएं ई-स्कूटी के लिए आवेदन करती हैं तो राज्य सरकार 390 करोड़ रुपए व्यय करेगी।
उल्लेखनीय है कि वर्ष 2023-24 के बजट में मेधावी छात्राओं के लिए स्कूटियों की संख्या को 20 हजार से बढ़ाकर 30 हजार किए जाने की घोषणा की गई थी।
योजना और वर्गवार स्कूटियों की संख्या

3. एससी वर्ग की 12वीं उत्तीर्ण छात्राओं हेतु (सामाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता विभाग): 2463
4. सामान्य वर्ग एवं आर्थिक पिछड़ा वर्ग 12वीं उत्तीर्ण छात्राओं हेतु (माध्यमिक शिक्षा विभाग): 1477
5. अल्पसंख्यक वर्ग की 12वीं उत्तीर्ण छात्राओं हेतु (अल्पसंख्यक मामलात विभाग): 1848
6. एसटी वर्ग की 12वीं उत्तीर्ण छात्राओं हेतु (जनजाति क्षेत्रीय विकास विभाग): 12315
7. अनुसूचित जनजाति वर्ग की 10वीं उत्तीर्ण छात्राओं हेतु (जनजाति क्षेत्रीय विकास विभाग): 2463
8. विमुक्तु घुमंतु, अर्द्धघुमंतु छात्राओं हेतु (सामाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता विभाग): 1577
9. देवनारायण छात्रा स्कूटी एवं प्रोत्साहन राशि योजना में: 3695

The state government is taking important decisions for the empowerment of girl students and to encourage them for higher education. Now scooties will be distributed to 30 thousand meritorious girl students of the state. The proposal to increase the number of scooties from 20 thousand to 30 thousand has been approved.
Under the Kalibai Bhil Medhavi Chhatra Scooty Yojana and Devnarayan Scooty Yojana, meritorious girl students will now also get the option of buying an electric scooty. Girl students can take option at the time of online application. Under the scheme, if all the girl students apply for e-scooty, then the state government will spend Rs 390 crore.
It is notable that in the budget of the year 2023-24, it was announced to increase the number of scooties from 20 thousand to 30 thousand for meritorious girl students.

4. For general category and economically backward class 12th passed girl students (Secondary Education Department): 1477
5. For 12th passed girl students belonging to minority category (Minority Affairs Department): 1848
6. For ST class 12th passed girl students (Tribal Regional Development Department): 12315
7. For 10th passed girl students of Scheduled Tribe (Tribal Area Development Department): 2463
8. For Vimuktu Ghumantu, Semi-nomadic girl students (Social Justice and Empowerment Department): 1577
9. In Devnarayan student scooty and incentive scheme: 3695
