Dartmouth's President-elect Dr. Jim Yong Kim gave a
public lecture titled "Tackling the World's Troubles: Global Health and the Challenge for Dartmouth" on May 26, 2009. A former senior official at the World Health Organization and co-founder of the nonprofit organization Partners In Health, Kim is internationally acknowledged for his leadership in the fight against HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and other diseases. The event took place at the Tuck School of Business.
