During a press conference with Vice President Mike Pence, HUD Secretary Ben Carson, Dr. Anthony Fauci and the rest of the administration's Covid-19 task force, Trump confirmed that 50 U.S. citizens had died from the virus.

He also confirmed with a smile that he and every other person in the room had their temperature screened before entrance, and that he himself had been tested for the coronavirus. Trump said he will not have his results for "a day, or two days."
