북한 보건성 부상 "진단•치료법 나올때까지 '국경 차단' 유지"...유엔 "북한, 국제협력 통해 코로나 대응해야…발생 확인 안돼"

North Korea plans to keep its borders shut until there's an effective diagnosis and treatment method for COVID-19.
The regime's vice health minister said in an interview with the Choson Sinbo, a pro-North Korean newspaper in Japan..., that the key way to keep the virus out... is preventing foreigners from coming in.
The reclusive state had its borders closed since the end of last month, and it has not yet reported any infections.
However, the UN special rapporteur on North Korea human rights, pointed out that Pyeongyang should let in foreign aid groups.
Tomas Ojea Quintana emphasized, this could be a chance to initiate close cooperation between the hermit kingdom and the international community to achieve common goals.
