A tragic incident has unfolded in Jammu and Kashmir where an army vehicle has been ambushed by terror groups. The army convoy was in the contentious region of Poonch where an encounter is currently underway. An official statement from the army indicates contact has been established, however, the exact number of casualties remains to be confirmed. Reports suggest that some army personnel may have been martyred. This incident is the latest amidst increasing terror activities in the south of Pir Panjal region in the twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch.
