video thumbnail
This short guided meditation available on the free Plum Village App https://plumvillage.app/ is an excerpt from the 'The Way Out Is In' podcast series - conversations between journalist and Plum Village lay friend Jo Confino, and Plum Village monastic Brother Phap Huu alongside other guesting monastics. These meditations conclude each episode with practice contemplations on the theme.

-------
#31 'True Love: Practicing In a Relationship'. In this episode Brother Phap Huu and Jo talk true love and how the teachings of Buddhism can support healthy relationships in our lives. They are joined this week by lay Buddhist practitioner and artist Paz Perlman; Paz and Jo have been married for 15 years. They talk about how making the Buddhist practice of Beginning Anew part of their daily life has nourished their relationship. Brother Phap Huu discusses the same and other practices that support relationships in the monastic environment, and ends offering this guided meditation: "Breathing in and out, I smile offering my body love and care."
