![]() |
As we continue to celebrate Black History Month together, we want to share another story that makes the Fairfax County Police Department great. We are a diverse agency, and we proudly serve a diverse community. The diversity of our sworn and professional staff contributes to FCPD’s mission & makes a difference in our community.
Officer Dianna Agyeman was born and raised in Fairfax County. Her family came to the U.S. from Ghana, a small country in West Africa, in hopes of giving their children more opportunities. After her first year at Radford University, Dianna transferred to Old Dominion University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Cyber Security. Dianna is a first-generation college student and graduate which made her parents very proud. After college, Dianna took a year off before deciding to join the Fairfax County Police Department. Growing up in Fairfax County she knew she wanted to give back to the community that helped shape her into the person that she is today. Be YOU and be FCPD.
