Guru Nanak Jayanti, or Gurupurab is being celebrated across the world to mark Guru Nanak Devji’s 550th birth anniversary on Nov 12. Gurupurab is referred to as one of the holiest festivals of the Sikh community. Gala celebrations are on to mark the pious occasion, including kirtans and langars, by devout Sikhs.
