On Aug 26 SpaceX attempted to conduct a 150-meter hover test of Starship Hopper (Starhopper, Hoppy, R2D2, Water Tower, Flying Trash Can), but there was an issue with the Raptor engine's torch igniter system that triggered an automatic shutdown to safe condition. On Aug 27, they succeeded!

According to this FAA permit dated Aug 23, SpaceX can only fly Starhopper (a.k.a.
