Country’s largest tricolour on the tallest flag post has been inaugurated at Belagavi and Attari. Ranchi and Hyderabad has the second and third largest Indian flag with tallest flagpole in the Country, followed by Raipur  Delhi, Lucknow, Pune and Faridabad.

There are more place in India where largest Indian flag has been hoisted like in Bhopal, in Pune and in Bangalore as well.

75th Independence Day: Independence day is a special day in India that celebrates the country’s independence from British rule. On August 15th, 1947, the Indian Independence Act was passed, which declared India an independent republic.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday urged the nation to develop hatred towards corruption and those indulging in that vice, and towards nepotism to move towards a new India with a firm resolve.

The first Indian national flag was hoisted on August 7, 1906 at Parsee Bagan Square in Kolkata. The flag had three major colours namely red, yellow and green.

As India celebrate its 75th year of Independence the zeal and enthusiasm is echoing the streets and nooks of the country as Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is being observed. People are bringing the Tiranga home to be part of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign.
