Today is World Narcissistic Abuse Awareness Day. As someone who has suffered a lot from narcissistic abuse from a relationship a few years ago, it's important to me to raise awareness and let others know that they're not alone. I have seen NPD, or narcissistic personality disorder up close and spent several years healing from it.

Recovery from narcissistic abuse is never easy. Surviving narcissism means surviving post traumatic stress disorder. Toxic relationships are never something easy to overcome, but a narcissist's sense of entitlement and self-centeredness makes it hard to move on.

Narcissistic verbal abuse is just as valid and painful as physical violence. If you often feel emotionally insecure & are hurting a lot during or after a relationship, then this stream will shed a light on why the person you love wants you to hurt & feel confused.
