I rate recipes on a scale of 1-10 based purely on taste. I do not consider the ease of completion/prep time when regarding the ratings.

10: Nothing is better, this is the end-all be-all. I will remake this over and over.
9: This is next to perfect, but is there secretly a better one out there? Until then, this is my golden recipe. I will likely remake.
8: This is excellent. I may possibly remake but I have 100 cookbooks to go through before I go back to this one.
7: This is good, the average, non-picky eater would eat this and say it's good. But I'm looking for perfection here, folks.
6: This is alright. I will eat this if it's in front of me and be satisfied.
5: This is not something I will look back on, but it fed me. It didn't taste horrible.
4: I will never eat this again and I'm sad I served it to someone I love. I was able to eat the entire dish, though.
3: I couldn't finish the meal completely but I ate most of it. I threw away the leftovers.
2: I couldn't bare to keep going. I had to make something else entirely, I can't believe I tried to eat that.
1: Holy cow that smells, I will not even attempt to eat that. What a waste of time, how could I have fallen for this. What has happened here, who made this recipe? I must find them. I must sever their tongue and submit it for taste-bud analyzing, science needs an explanation. I. need. An explanation.
