Philippine Highlights of The Climate Reality Project's Global Training 2020 (July)

video thumbnail
In July 2020, The Climate Reality Project trained thousands of climate advocates across the world for its very first virtual Global Training leadership program. A total of 345 Pinoys emerged as new Climate Reality Leaders.

During the training, we asked Pinoy trainees to share on social media or through their mentors their insights and experience of learning from some of the world’s climate scientists, experts, and communicators, including former US Vice President Al Gore.

We’ve included some of these insights in this video, which we’re also posting in anticipation of yet another virtual training starting this August 28 to September 3, 2020. For this one, more than 400 applicants from the Philippines will be aspiring to be Climate Reality Leaders!

Over the weekend, the selected Pinoy Mentors received their list of mentees and some have already reached out and scheduled a group meeting with their mentees before the training. If you’re a trainee this August, expect an email from your mentor who will be guiding you throughout this process.

Thank you all once again for being part of this growing community of climate advocates who are leading the fight to end this global climate crisis.
