Shelters commonly encounter dogs and cats with orthopedic injuries. These cases may be challenging to manage, particularly when treatment options may be restricted by limited resources, availability of surgical consultations, and/or other practical considerations. This workshop will provide attendees with treatment and management options for a number of different case presentations, including which may be candidates for casting, which require surgery, and which should be referred to a specialist.
