A newsstand at the corner of Third Avenue and Pike Street in Seattle used to sell newspapers and magazines to downtown office workers. Now, the stand provides the overdose-reversing spray Narcan to drug users.

Around the corner from the stand, Travis Hudson and his friend huddle into the doorway of a Ross store to smoke fentanyl together.

"It doesn’t bother me. I’m open about it," Hudson told a KOMO News crew Wednesday when asked if he would be ok with being filmed.
