Exploiting materials; why we shouldn’t always reinvent the wheel | Cambridge MENA Online Experience

video thumbnail
In this webinar, participants reflect on their relationship with readymade materials. They explore their current beliefs and practices in material use and consider: How do I use materials? How often do I adapt them? How does this impact on my classroom? Through developing criteria centered around their specific learners and seeking effective learning, participants reflect on their current materials as a first step. Based on the outcomes, they then explore a set of tools which enable them to fully exploit, adapt or extend their materials. The workshop uses real examples for participants to experiment with in order to later transfer skills acquired to their own contexts.
