Further challenges await those who choose to go no contact from their dysfunctional family headed by the narcissist. Narcissistic family system is something that is not discussed by survivors of narcissistic abuse, very often. Challenges are common, but some can become discouraged as he or she tries to find ways to keep thriving forward past narcissistic relationships without feeling so haunted from their past. Those who have been selected as scapegoat within his or her dysfunctional family are often traumatized by the experience. When he or she has chosen to go no contact it is usually the last resort to thriving forward while healing past narcissistic abuse. It is less than likely that such dysfunctional families with a narcissist or a cluster B personality heading it, will seek healing, closure or stability, due to the refusal to take responsibility to dysfunctional behaviors and the lack of empathy from the cluster B personality. Other family members tend to be emotionally bullied into submission in order to feed the false self-image of the narcissist and or family member(s) with other cluster B personality types.
