As if owning rental properties isn't crazy dealing with the tenants, in this case how about dealing with the elderly tenants that your contracted tenants decided to sub-lease to in order to cover their own rent, keep them without utilities, bring bedbugs to their hillbilly house hacking scheme, and cause general mayhem in a real estate investment?

Once again this is the crazy and sort of dark side of real estate investing. I still believe that real estate investing is the best passive income method out there, but you HAVE to do some due diligence when researching & looking for your tenants, and the like.
