The explosion in southern Gaza is the deadliest attack on Israeli forces in months. Saturday's explosion took place in Rafah, which Israel has identified as Hamas' last major stronghold. Israel sent troops into the city back in early May. As of now, there's no clear indication of when this operation will end.
