Check out this wild theory I've got about Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, connecting the dots from the Birth of Kong comic to the movie. So, from what we've seen in the trailers, it seems the Kongs, led by Skar King, were putting other titan species under their control. The Gojira, led by Godzilla, rebelled against Skar King, sparking a war. Now, what if Kong's parents and a few other apes wanted no part in this war or Skar King's rule? So, they left and settled on Skull Island, away from the war in the Hollow Earth. Now, Skar King, being the Titan tyrant he is, gets ticked off that they dipped from his empire. So, he sends the Skull Crawlers after them, kicking off the whole feud between the Kongs and the Skull Crawlers on Skull Island and eventually leading to the tragic loss of Kong's family. Imagine if Kong unravels this history and decides to throw down with Skar King, not just for the dictatorship but also for the vendetta against his fam. What do you think?
