One of the most dangerous types of people to deal with is the narcissist, a manipulative individual who only sees other people as things to be used to further his ends and objectives (which are only to be boasted about; never to be realized).
They see us as nothing more than stepping stones.
In the eyes of the narcissist, other individuals are just tools to achieve their aims and aspirations.
It's impossible to have respect for someone who doesn't see you as a complete person, with all of your feelings and objectives.
Narcissists are crazy for control, and having someone in their inner circle over whom they have no control is one of the most disturbing and destabilizing things for them.
Additionally, the narcissist would be unable to tolerate any of this individual's other features, making this person a great obstacle to them. This person is the bane of their existence, and they can drive narcissists to the brink of madness. It means that they might lose, and narcissists loathe losing; for a narcissist to be unable to get their way or acquire the person they seek is frustrating. Having lost at something, whether it be a game, a job, or even a romantic connection, is a cruel reminder to a Narcissist that they're not in control of everything or everyone. Regardless of the circumstances, this can happen.
