Cub Run Watershed Clean-up Day

video thumbnail
Watershed Cleanup Days are beneficial to the environment as well as for the teaching the community the value of giving back. The Cub Run RECenter volunteer coordinator organizes neighbors and community organizations, such as scout groups, to come out to the park and stream valley to pick up trash and clean up the area. It takes many volunteers to keep the stream valleys and our water supply clean. There are lots of opportunities to help keep our parkland clean, check out https://volunteer.fairfaxcounty.gov/custom/1380/#/volunteer_home to find more volunteer events in your area!
