In a TED conference in Vancouver, Herr featured Adrianne Haslet-Davis, a Boston Marathon bombing survivor, danced despite having only one real limb and a prosthetic leg (may we say, the better looking limb) called T2 system. Dr. Herr has been working with her for over two hundred days. Her prosthetic limb reacts to the unpredictable dance movements with ease, just like a real limb. At the conference, they made history, more importantly, Dr. Herr gave hope to millions who live with a non-responsive plastic limb.
