Dwarka Peeth Shankaracharya Swaroopanand Saraswati raised a storm by condemning the worship of Saint Sai Baba because and calling it an international conspiracy against Hindus. He had even asked the Sai disciples to have fast on Ekaadashi and take a dip in holy river Ganga for their purification. He also condemned Water Resource Uma Bharti for not being a true 'Ram Bhakt' after she spoke in support of Sai Baba worship.
