We talk a lot about all the different Jazz scales you can use on chords and it all often becomes a bit vague. In this Jazz Scales Lesson I am going to show you how to take 5 scales that have a very distinct sound and then focus on how they sound over a 12 bar blues and talk a little bit about what I am using to get the sound across.

This video is a little inspired by another video I saw of a transcription and analysis of a Herbie Hancock solo on a blues. It's very interesting though I am not sure I completely agree with the analysis. I linked to the video in the description of this video.
