Sustainable Urban Farming | Priyanka Shah | TEDxTNMC

video thumbnail
With progressive urbanization of all the countries in the world, it is important for us to stay in touch with our natural side. We all love to be independent so why not be independent by developing sustainable urban farming to allow you to grow your own crops by knowing exactly what's going into their production. It brings benefits to farmers, students, communities and corporates by reducing carbon footpeints and improving food quality.

Priyanka Shah is the Founder of i-Kheti, a community enterprise with a social impact with a vision for individuals and communities to grow healthy consumable crops within their premises and promote sustainable urban farming.

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
