Transit police are investigating two violent assaults on Link light rail trains that injured passengers over the last week.

According to the King County Sheriff's Office (KCSO), the first assault happened at 1:50 p.m. Friday at the SODO station. A passenger on the train beat a man in the head with a rock and then ran off, a KCSO spokesperson said.
