I'm an adult, and I've never played with LEGO's--until now. Well, okay--I've snapped a few together here and there, but I've never built a set, or even played with them as a kid, period.
My friend wanted to get me a fun Christmas gift that I'd never get myself, and she went with the Steamboat Willie LEGO set. I used to work at Walt Disney World, so the gift made since.
But still, LEGOS?!
I was overwhelmed with the 751 piece set, as I decided to build the whole thing in one night. But four and a half hours later, I had a masterpiece!
Playing with LEGO's was a lot of fun. While the exterior of the Steamboat Willie set was black and white, the interior was multi-colored, and easy (ish) to build.
I struggled, okay?
As far as the more adult Disney LEGO sets go, this one was small, compared to the castle and train station they sell!
I am honored my friend got this LEGO set for me, and I had a lot of fun! It was nice, doing something I'd never do normally.
