Here Pedal PT's Kevin Schmidt breaks down the components of proper knee tracking with regards to cycling: "This is a great exercise to help bring awareness and control the amount of knee valgus/varus with squatting, especially with the single leg variety. Typically how someone squats with a single-leg is also how they will pedal with that leg, so if the knee deviates in/out this can be addressed and improved. Work up to performing this exercise on a 10-12" high block for added challenge."
