The Mandalorian Season 2 is over and the Book of Boba Fett drops December 2021 on Disney+ with the Mandalorian Season 3 coming out in 2022, according to Lucasfilm, Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau.
In this Star Wars news update, we talk about the Mandalorian Season 3 and how Din Djarin (Mando - Pedro Pascal) who now holds the Darksaber after beating Moff Gideon in the Mandalorian Season 2 finale might go to the planet of Mandalore to face off against Bo-Katan Kryze who desperately wants it. Season 3 of the live-action Star Wars, Disney+ and Lucasfilm show might focus more on Mandalorian creed and tradition and less on Grogu (Baby Yoda - The Child) who is now training with Luke Skywalker. We could even see flashbacks to the Great Purge and how the Empire impacted Mandalore. We haven't seen the planet in live-action before but we have seen it in Star Wars Rebels and the Clone Wars! Could Sabine Wren appear? We also discuss the Obi-Wan Kenobi series where Ewan McGregor has recently stated that Jon Favreau will not be working on the series but Deborah Chow will be! I also talk about The High Republic and how Lucasfilm have introduced a Jedi whose inspiration was Ahsoka Tano. Finally, we discuss Katee Sackhoff and her role of Bo-Katan in the Mandalorian. Where will the Mandalorian take us next? With a filming start date of April 5th, this is such an exciting time to be a Star Wars fan! Will Grogu become the second ever Mandalorian Jedi after Tarre Vizsla? Will he leave Luke's Jedi Academy? This is a time of waiting for all Star Wars fans as Disney+ prepares to host a whole range of Star Wars shows. This year, we see Temuera Morrison reprise the role of Boba Fett as well as the release of Star Wars The Bad Batch and Star Wars Visions. There has been many rumors and a whole load of news which includes the Gina Carano controversy ever since she was erased by Lucasfilm and their recent artwork that featured Greef Karga, Moff Gideon, Din Djarin and Ahsoka Tano. Along with these shows and the Mandalorian's third season, we look forward to the Ahsoka Tano spin-off series which features Rosario Dawson reprising her role as live-action former Jedi Ahsoka following her activity after Star Wars: Rebels and during the events of the Mandalorian. George Lucas, Dave Filoni, Jon Favreau and Kathleen Kennedy are all confirmed to be working on the series. This is the Way! #StarWars #TheMandalorian #News |
