(3 Oct 2018) Indonesian President Joko Widodo visited Palu on Wednesday to witness the recovery operations as bodies continue to be found.
The official death toll of the devastating earthquake and tsunami has reached 1,234, with scores of uncounted bodies believed to be still buried in collapsed buildings.
Food, water, fuel and medicine have yet to reach the hardest-hit areas outside Palu, the largest city heavily damaged in Friday's disasters.
