When people become acutely unwell, it is like storm. Not only affecting the individual, but everyone else around as well. It affects their families and it is a very stressful event. In this lecture, Professor Christos Pantelis talks about why we really need research to try and change what is happening in young people. He focuses particularly around brain maturation to provide a context around understanding severe disorders that occur in adolescence and early adulthood.
