A Philippine supply ship dangerously approached a #Chinese vessel in normal navigation in the adjacent waters of Ren'ai Reef in the South China Sea on June 17. The incident occurred as the #Philippine vessel attempted to deliver supplies to a military vessel that has been illegally grounded by the Philippines on the reef for 25 years. The China Coast Guard said that it took regulatory measures to respond to this illegal intrusion and seized guns from Philippine speedboats.

In an interview with CMG, military expert Du Wenlong said that it is obvious that the Philippines had been planning this action for a long time and has come up with a well-crafted tactical design, aiming to achieve their goals through such intrusions.
