2018 Wi-Fi Trek - Robert Bartz (What Wires? I’m Using Wireless)

video thumbnail
When it comes to wireless networking, it is important not to forget about the “wired side”. Even with WLAN technology we still have wires and rely on services such as Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name Service (DNS) and technology such as IEEE 802.3 Power over Ethernet (PoE).

In this presentation, attendees will learn about the importance of understanding the wired networking services that are associated with 802.11 WLAN technology and the impact they may have on a WLAN deployment of any size.
